Has anyone seen a piece like this on Palestinian victims?

EVER?
While it's terrible that this woman was murdered, this kind of extended sympathy piece NEVER appears when the subject is Palestinian. How many of these have you seen with the father of a child shot dead by the IDF? How many of these have you seen when a Palestinian is disappeared into the Israeli gulag?
Also, their conlcusion to honour her memory? Build up the kibbutz.....
On a wider point, I check in on the fraudian website most mornings to see how they are covering things and now the main activity is Israel bombing Gaza and preparing for a possible ground assault it is noticeable that their coverage is pretty much ignoring it.
They have nine main stories on their front page with the headlines: Hamas holding up to 10 Britons hostage in Gaza, says foreign secretary
Rafah border crossing: could Egypt open it to fleeing Palestinians?
‘I hope it can endure’: examples of Jewish-Arab solidarity offer hope in Israel
TikTok says it has acted to curb disinformation amid Israel-Hamas war
Israel occupation of Gaza would be ‘big mistake’ says Biden, as Rafah crossing expected to open
Hamas and Israel at war: what we know on day 10
Israel confirms 126 people being held hostage by Hamas
Friends of woman killed in Israeli kibbutz pledge to rebuild settlement
and a live thread where they include important information like this IDf weasel denying everything and oddy neglecting to mention the fact that they have killed 2600 civilians so far seems to contradict his "We are not killing civilians" nonsense:
A few hours ago, Israel Defence Forces spokesperson Jonathan Conricus gave an update on the conflict in which he denied that Israel was targeting civilians in Gaza.
“We strike Hamas, we strike their infrastructure and we are hunting their commanders,” he said. “Categorically we are not trying to strike civilians.”
However he did say that traditional methods such as “roof-knocking” to warn civilians to evacuate targeted buildings could not always be used “for obvious reasons”. He also denied Israeli responsibility for a strike on a civilian convoy of evacuees on Friday in which about 70 people died.
He said no media reports of hostages held by Hamas being executed had been confirmed.
The bias has been complete and totally overt in this latest episode and that applies not just to the media but also the politicians. Absolutely disgusting but really illustrates the looking-glass nature of the main stream....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
Re: Has anyone seen a piece like this on Palestinian victims?
This is because of the role and power of Jonathan Freedland at the Guardian and wider.
He has a lot of influence. Yesterday the BBC interviwed him, as the sensible, liberal, natural, voice of Zionism.
It wasn't long before he began to link current events with the long, centuries old, trauma of the Jewish people about pogroms, persecution and the Holocaust.
Jonathan didn't touch on the Palestinian's trauma, for some reason.
Re: Has anyone seen a piece like this on Palestinian victims?
I skim read some long Zionist screed he had in the fraud yesterday (I think, maybe Saturday) and noticed that any mention of Palestinian suffering and trauma was conspicious by its absence. It sounds like the same article you reference. Even in my search for things to criticise I rarely bother even looking at his stuff as its basically the Jewish Chronicle with a different heading.
The coverage of this latest violence has been astonishingly biased though. Any pretence of impartiality seems to have been discarded and the Palestinian side of the story has just been ignored for the most part. When "the story" became Israel launching bombs and missiles into Gaza for days on end there was suddenly no news and they printed endless stories about "Israeli hostages" and "Israeli mother tells heart-breaking story of her daughter" and "Isreal says this", "Israel says that" and nothing about "Another 500 civilians killed in Gaza".
Truly disgusting....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
