What's extraordinary, but not surprising, is how, for example, BBC/Guardian journalists accept, virtually without a murmur of criticism when they interview Israeli spokesmen about their heinous bombardment of defenceless Gaza; is their absurd argument that they don't deliberately target innocent civilians.
That's unadulterated bullshit. When they drop massively powerful and destructive bombs on a tightly packed urban area, they know that civilians will be killed in huge numbers. It's inevitable. So the Israeli definition of 'deliberate' is ridiculous and a cover up of what's really happening. The Israelis... are lying.
And Gaza is, of course, completely defencless against the power of Israel's airforce and artillery, yet one won't see articles full of outrage and handwringing about the attacks on defenceless urban areas packed with helpless civilains. Nor will one read demands for the 'international community' or 'the world' to not look away and impose, at the least a no-fly zone over Gaza.
