They clearly did not play our schedule, because they play in a weaker conference. Despite this, they made efforts to play the some of the best squads by traveling west to face us.
In short I think RPI is out the window in this particular case. It's the head to head that kills us.

LB beat UCLA once and Hawaii twice.

I think that getting swept last night seals the deal. And I agree Penn State will get the nod, especially due to the head to head victory ON OUR FLOOR.
Still was a solid season and the future is VERY BRIGHT. Wish I could say the same about many of our other programs, but I cannot.

With UCLA all but guaranteed of getting one of the at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament it comes down to Penn State or us for the other one. Penn State had a better overall record (23-4) to 20-5. They finished the season very strong with a 19 game winning streak before being upset by Princeton. The main criteria is they beat us head to head at the pyramid earlier in the season. While I think we are a better team it looks to me like Penn State will get the other at-large bid.
