PG - Hunter, Hart Jr.
SG - Murray, Tsohonis, Rotegaard
SF - Jones, A. Traore, George
PF - L. Traore, A. Traore, Ngoyi, Yan
C - Stroud, Polynice, Ngoyi
Hunter was a standout juco PG for a nat’l power, rated highly out of HS.
He and Hart Jr. could be a dynamic PG pairing.
Murray was normally a SG this past season.
Tsohonis, Jones, and A. Traore can all play two positions.
All four post players can likely play either spot.
Could be a fun season by league play again.
Will likely need the non-league season to allow the 7 newcomers time to gel with the returning players.
Must coach pressure defense from the first full day of practice forward, utilize the athleticism and post position length, and make it fun like this past league season. Previous Message
It will be a solid lineup for the Big West. I think AJ George will get playing time and will do well. His senior year of HS he average 24 points and 8 boards in a shorter HS game (32min). It's going to be competitive to get game minutes next year. Previous Message
Looking at the depth chart, here is what I see. Several of our players are able to play multiple positions, so I may list them under more than one slot.
PG: Murray, Tsohonis, Hunter, Hart
SG: Jones, Tsohonis, Hunter
SF: Jones, Rotegaard, A. Traore, George
PF: A. Traore, L. Traore, Stroud, Ngoyi, Rotegaard
C: L. Traore, Polynice, Stroud, Ngoyi, Yan
Not having seen most of these guys play, but knowing the value of at least some experience, potential starting lineup:
PG; Murray
SG: Tsohonis
SF: Jones
PF: A Traore
C: L Traore
