The BW Commish needs to have a serious discussion with Bakersfield, UCR and UCD and tell them they either need to provide more funding and upgrade if they want to compete in the conference.

The Big West is the equivalent of the Mountain West or American in Football. The top 3 or so can compete with anyone every year. But gets no respect from anyone because we are not a P5. Big West has more trips to Omaha than any other non P5 conference in the past 30 years. Previous Message

The Big West really has a problem if it's going to try to get multiple teams into regionals as Bakersfield, UCR and UCD are horrible with RPIs of 273, 291 and 292. Previous Message

For context, CSUN & Long Beach State actually saw their RPI drop, despite sweeping their respective series this weekend. Irvine improved, despite losing two of three at home, to Santa Barbara.
