The Big West is a Calif bus league with 3 or 4 weak schools that hurts our ratings but, what choice do we have but to stay in the BW? Next year, we have 20 BW games in basketball so how high can our rpi really get? At least we get 10 conference home games though.

Bakersfield RPI 273, UCR RPI 292 and UCD RPI 293. As I said before the BW Comnish needs to have a serious discussion with their AD's concerning upgrading their programs. Previous Message

Too many Big West games. Feel the same with basketball. In today's sports world, makes scheduling harder but go full divisions and free up some early weekends. If the teams can't find an OOC during the year, always can fall back on playing the other Big West teams as OOC.

The Dirtbags non-conference RPI is 77. Take away getting swept at home by Sac St with a RPI of 212 and its close to 50.
We play 30 BW Conference games with 9 of them being against teams with RPI's greater than 270. Previous Message
Unfortunately, Bakersfield, CSF and especially UC Davis RPI's would be a weight on RPI. This occurred last year in the last BW series where the Dirtbags RPI dropped in spite of sweeping. Of course, last year if the Dirtbags had been able to play 2-3 pre-conference series, the consensus was they would have been in the NCAA tournament Previous Message
Had crossed my mind too. Probably leaves us at around 90 RPI, maybe. Fullerton's RPI currently 200. Big West pretty week.
