I believe that the coaches are always pleased with their recruits when they are on their way into our program. But as you say, the proof will come when we start to play next year. I was sorry to see the players that left the program go. All of them were true seniors or hold overs from Covid. We did have a few who could have still played this year, and who may play elsewhere this coming season. But I believe that it is time to move on and start building the new crop of players who will be with the program for 3 or 4 years to come. I hope that all or most of those who will be coming into the program will be here for the summer and can get started with classes and individual training sessions. I hope to be able to drop by the Pyramid a few times this summer and get a peak at our new players. If I do, I will post something out here. Previous Message
I saw Westmont play twice this year. They had 2 diminutive guards running their show. Their stats were both about 15 pts a game and 4-5 assists. Can't imagine either of them being all Americans. Maybe our transfer didn't play at Westmont last year. The level of play for most NAIA schools is very low. I'm anxious to hear about the other transfers. The delay in announcing raises concerns in spite of the positive vibes D Pitts felt a couple of weeks ago. Just saying...
