The Big West has submitted a waiver to allow UC San Diego to be eligible for NCAA Championships starting this fall, two years before the Tritons are currently set to be NCAA Championships eligible. Commissioner Butterly: “Through the current NCAA Division I Transformation Committee work, The Big West fully supports UC San Diego becoming immediately eligible to compete in NCAA Division I Championships.
