Went to Arizona to visit my brother. He has cancer and is having a rough time of it.

Good things happened while I was gone.

The baseball team had a fabulous final 15 games of the season and finished above .500.. Augers well for next season as this was a very young team.

Looks like we win the Commissioners Cup. They should announce soon. This will be the 9th time we have won the cup. One short of the Crouchos. We'll catch them next year. And our first win since 16-17.

For those of you that think winning the cup is no big thing. I think you are wrong. It showcases the school with the most overall success. And it says a lot about the relative health of the athletic department. We are not perfect but the overall success of the department is REAL.

There have been no official announcements of the newcomers for MBB and WBB. The MBB recruits we all know. I know all the WBB ladies as well but have been requested to not divulge. Don't know why leaking the MBB names was OK but not the WBB names. Don't want to piss-off my source so I won't talk even if waterboarded.

Looks like the BWC is now in its own league for WP and basketball conference scheduling will change after NEXT season to 18 conference games vs 29 in order to participate in some national scheduling. This should bring some more interesting teams into the Myd.
