This creates a huge opportunity for SDSU and Boise State. Unless Cal and Stanford blackballs them they are probably in.
IMO SDSU especially would be a good fit. They are a research University, and athletically they would complete very well. Not to mention they have great support from Alumni and community. Previous Message
It's a TV money-making incentive to move to the Big 10. When Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, and the other prominent programs come to the Rose Bowl or Coliseum, that's a big TV audience and a big in-stadium attendance. A problem is the big travel time to go to the mid-east. This may improve recruiting at USC and UCLA as it means games on national TV against very good teams. Will the realighned PAC 10 still be a top 5 conference in the NCAA? I don't see any powerhouse schools being added to the PAC 10. Previous Message
.holy shit this stuff is getting crazy. Gotta think some of the other P12 Schools may bolt to the Big12. Could see Stanford and Cal following SC/UCLA
..though Cal is pretty broke.
