Re: How to Get Your $15 Parking Fee Back
why is there a private company running our parking lots and structures -- who is this company and who are the officers who run this company? ---
2017 article on solar panels as the parking increase does not cover the cost:
Conoley said the school partnered with SunPower to get the panels in place before classes began. She described it as a Public-Private Partnership and financed through a Power Purchase Agreement, which means the university did not have to pay upfront costs to install the system.
The developer covers most or all the costs to design, install and maintain a solar energy system on a customerís property. In return, the customer agrees to purchase the energy produced by the system from the developer for a fixed rate for a period of time. https://www.csulb.edu/article/university-goes-greener-solar-panels
I have been told price increase due to keeping up with the maintenance of the parking lots....$15 dollars is more than parking at Angel Stadium....
Yes, and let us make sure that we blame the Athletic Dept for rate increase. Geez!!!
I agree. But someone has to pay for the solar panels. That would be US!
Dedicated The increase in parking is a $3 increase in one year. That is high. This will adversely affect ticket sales for sporting and/or any other campus events.
