I agree it will take time for the team to gel but we need a player that can hit the 3 or our offense will be limited. Previous Message

While there is some quality of talent on this team, they have not jelled yet. This will happen but it will take time.
This team is relying on defense to create offense. This requires a deep bench (10 players) to optimize the stamina of the individuals .
Recognizing the best combination of five at any onetime will require a lot of time and effort. Some combinations will work and some won't
Once that issue is resolved, the high pressure defense will provide opportunities in offense by ways of turnovers, steals, rebounds and the exhaustion of the opponents starting five. They will have to depend on their bench much more and their continuity will suffer. That being said, creating a set offense with an interchangeable group of 10 players (at least half new comers) will take some time.
Just as in the defense we will need to identify just who the new shooters will be, what combinations work best, etc.
Many of the new players will need to be tested under pressure to see if and when they are best to be on the floor. Some will realize they are no longer the go to guy or that 80% effort will not get the job done. Lazy passes are turnovers, jogging back on offense or defense is not acceptable!
The current player team psychology and harmony appears good so far. The coaches have shown that they know how to turn a team into a high intensity defensive team. I am at peace with that, but expect a lot of hope and disappointments in pre conference play.
We could be a top three team in conference if things go well!
