So, we whomped a team on a neutral court that Fullerton had to go 2 OT at home to beat and USC beat by only 2 at home.
Nice to put on those kind of glasses sometimes.
The guards were dominant! Murray Tsohonis and Hunter shot FG 23-38 or 61%!!!
FT 4-11 I believe we will get better
Lassina handled the middle just fine against a bit smaller guys, 7 pts 11 boards 2 blocks. Still 4 TOs so something to work on
Great to see Rote shooting well, plus 5 boards and 2 assists.
Overall a very good result for this tournament, 2 good wins and one bad loss, compared to last year 2 horrible losses one decent win we are light years ahead.

Team came to play, cleaned up the two biggest problems. Coaches get credit for this big improvement as well.
19 assists and 15 TOs, usually another problem well 15 TOs is bad but 19 assists is very good
Vermont 6-25 from deep...that is dang good but probably coupled with a bad shooting night from a so so 3 pt shooting team

Murray had 6 at the half, now has 18 and is 2-4 from 3 pt land. Team is 6-13 finally a breakout.

15 assists 13 TOs a bit sloppy but if we are playing frenetic defense it can get this way. To get very good TOs need to get cut in half
Vermont is 5-18 from 3...holding them below their avg that is good news and only 3 offensive rebounds that is VERY good
Keep focused Beach almost closed these guys out!
