Great analysis. One more thing to add. With a min left A. Traore fouls out with us losing by 2. I thought game over since were down to 4 scholarship players. It turns out to be the best thing that could have happened since that non-scholarship player made the play of the game.

I had the fortunate luck to have witnessed this gritty, miraculous game from row C behind the scorers table, great seats to witness a historic win no matter the opponent. Woweee!!!!!

1. No Jones, No Murray, No Stroud, No Polynice, NO PROBLEM
2. 3 OT win on the road, NO PROBLEM
3. Tsohonis nearly gets 50, NO PROBLEM
4. Traore's nearly get 40 rebounds combined, NO PROBLEM
5. Maddox Monson is the hero, NO PROBLEM
6. We win on an inbounds steal, a perfect bounce pass to AJ from Monson for a dunk, NO PROBLEM
7. AJ and Tone suffer minor injuries and play through for the big win NO PROBLEM

Lassina and Aboubacar left everything on the court 100% pure effort and focus. Those dudes are astronomically good rebounders. Lassina uses amazing positioning and Aboubacar relentless athleticism and impeccable timing.

Tshohonis, what I realized about his bodywork is when he has any room to operate he squares up like Kawhi Leonard, textbook framing the basket with his body, yeah he has some weird shot release but it works for him. I think he had 4 or 5 unfortunate close misses that just barely spun out, easily could have had 50 tonight. He anticipates lanes well and dribbles low down and uses his strength to get 6-8 feet away then flips in shots that are on target. And his defense is getting solid.

Give props to UCSD, all the coaches, all the players, this was a classic in front of about 300 fans. Tone with some amazing circus shots to aTone for some dribbling into nowhere'sville.

Did a good job defending overall, just kept to the zone to keep some legs and did it just good enough to eeeek out a 3 OT win.

From my vantage point, both Jadon and Chayce look close to ready to go, Jadon limping very slightly, Chayce with lower back issues doesn't appear serious, I hope its not.

Yikes, gotta say I like Maddox Monson a lot, scrub coaches son walkon with nothing HS stats...dude has his head in the game, plays pretty tough and smart. Just watch him hit a 3 pt winner later in the season.
