Fool lost in OT to CSUN, now we are in sole possession of 6th place which means, if I understand correctly seeds 7-10 play a round to determine the 7 and 8 seeds.

Long way to go, and the teams ahead will be hard to catch except for Davis currently in 5th at 5-3, we are 4-4.

A couple winnable games coming up:

Thursday @ Cal Poly, we handled them easily recently, can we muster up another strong road effort?

Saturday at home vs Davis, feels like a must win to solidify our place in the 5-6 seed range

Would be huge to get these 2 wins, the stretch after that is a bit brutal and will tell us if we can compete with the BW big boys, or are we again middle of the pack and our only hope is getting red hot at the right time. Key is getting back in this order: Jones (need his minutes, defense, 3 pt shooting, floor leader, dynamic player); Murray (yeah we seem to be better without him but I hope he's watching and learning too, move the ball like crazy plus Murray can play off the ball a lot more if need be); Chayce and Stroud (getting at least one big back is super important for depth right now).

**Well we got superstar Maddox Monson now too! Maybe he becomes a closer, you laugh but if he can learn to spot up for 3's and take a quick shot, that smarts and defense of his is a good weapon in very short spurts.

Then things get tough, 5 out of 7 games with conference leaders UCI, Hawaii, UCSB, and UCR; a game at Foolerton they will be highly motivated for a revenge win; and a game at Bake. Could easily lose 4 of 7 or worse. If we go 4-3 or better that is a big deal.

Then we close out with 3 winnable games v CSUN, Bake, and Davis.

Goal is to get at least a 6 seed. Will need to fend off Davis and Foolerton. One of these 3 teams (LB, UCD, Fool) will have to play 4 to win the BWT.
