I’ve been to more NCAAT games at different venues than I can remember, unless the higher seed is playing in their back yard
those venues can become non neutral in a hurry when those attending start sensing a large upset, especially with a team people have almost never heard of. Sometimes the talent just eventually takes over and Goliath prevails, but the pressure on these uber high seeds almost becomes palpable when they realize
they might lose.
