Series loss:
UCSD- swept
A sweep to UCSD is not good. We are in a solid spot if that is our lone aberration.
Overall if we had won against UCLA I’d feel a little better. Reality is with Wichita being down this year we really need to win every series to get in. GCU is decent this year so a few more solid OOC games.
UCSB has the 11th OOC RPI so beating them is going to be key.

Blowing a three run lead in the 9th on Friday started everything off on the wrong foot. We didn't even show up on Sat. and Sun. Starting pitching has been pretty good but nothing else. Again, very little hitting and the relief pitching has totally blown up at times. Yes, certainly Mr. Valenzuela surely has to produce much better than this!
