I forgot that we have fans of Long Beach State Athletics that are happy when we are mediocre and enjoy watching our players drink their sippy cups and eat their orange slices by showing up and playing hard. Bottom line is why do we have an almost completely new Baseball team this year? Valenzuela has not done a good job at so far. We are in BW play now so the team should be showing improvement and not be 0-3 to start league play.

The Dirtbags opened up an 8-1 lead over Fresno State at Blair after 5 innings but our garbage pitching staff has allowed 4 in the 6th to cut the lead to 8-5 in the 6th. Valenzuela is turning out to be another CDM in that he is very overrated.
