Do you really think that this group of relatively inexperienced administrators have the chops to select a coach. How many have them have done that before? How many already have a cadre of coaches that they know and can contact about the job?
This is why the selection of a AD has been such a circle jerk.
And who is willing to come here without know who the AD is going to be.

OK, now I know what you were talking about. Sorry to see Jeff go!!! But, I sort of think that this is going to be our lot in life for a while. A coach will be here and if he or she has success will be recruited away to a bigger or higher paying job. I do believe that we should move quickly to name a replacement as recruiting is going to be a big issue. I do not know what the administration will think or want to do. I do know that Jody Wynn has started to think about what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Might be a good choice as she has experience here, and is probably somewhat familiar with the recruits that are available since her husband, Derek, is an assistant coach at Irvine. Previous Message
He should be informing his team as I type.
Jeff Cammon is leaving as Head Coach of the WBB team and will become the new Head Coach of the St. Marys Gaels in Moraga, CA.
In my opinion this could not have come at a more inopportune time.
With no experienced AD who will pick a replacement? And what established coach would want to come without knowing who is his/her AD?
The present remaining administration, as nice a people as they are, DO NOT have the experience nor the contacts to select a new coach.
