Doesn’t the same difficulty exist in enticing coaches to come when the AD is unknown? I’ll gladly sacrifice a single season to minimize the 5 year risk of a bad hire made by people who’d probably look you in the eye and admit they’re out of their depth dealing in the on court/field aspect of running the department.

I hope you are prepared for a disastrous season next year, just write it off now if you are not going to hire a coach. The core of this team is graduating. Enticing players to come here when the Coach is unknown is gonna be really hard. You are likely to end up with players who don't have a lot of options. Previous Message
