Don't get too sweaty, this feels like a big time hype of his potential. He obviously didn't pan out at Stanford for whatever reason, but the little I've read into him he seems like a solid, creative kid with a big time skill set and boy will he have all the minutes he wants next year to show his skills off.
"Prospect: PG Isael Silva
Projected Position: Point Guard
Status: SI All-American Candidate
Vitals: 6-foot-3, 170 pounds
School: Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep
Committed to: Stanford
Frame: Lean frame with room to add and develop muscle at the next level.
Athleticism: Silva has great quickness on the first step which enables him to get by his defender. His change of speed and quickness bursts are what allow him to maneuver around the floor and keep the defense off balance.
Instincts: Silva has a high basketball IQ and is very intentional about his movements as a floor general. He has elite vision and delivers passes to his teammates in the areas where they can be most effective given the situation. Silva is a marksman of a shooter from the perimeter and chooses his spots well offensively.

Polish: Silva won’t be hurried; he’s a master at controlling pace and engineering the offense. He’s adept at creating for his teammates but is a capable scorer at all three levels.
Bottom Line: Silva knows what he’s doing as a point guard and his combination of feel, IQ and scoring ability will have him seeing time early for the Cardinal. "

Very interesting how he sees himself as an artist distributing and creating offense.
Pretty big time pickup. Might have to reconsider that season ticket non renewal promise I made. Promises are meant to be broken sometimes. Previous Message

"As most teams have already seen their college basketball season come to a close, there’s an influx of players entering the transfer portal. And it looks like a former top recruit has done just that.
On Tuesday afternoon, Stanford Cardinal guard Isael ‘Isa’ Silva announced via Twitter that he will be entering the NCAA transfer portal.
“After much thought, consideration and prayer, I have decided to enter the transfer portal and explore new opportunities to help me fulfill my dreams,” Silva wrote in a statement posted to Twitter on Tuesday. “I want to express my sincere gratitude to my family, Stanford University, the Stanford community, fanbase and coaching staff for the opportunities they have given me, and the support they have provided throughout my time at Stanford. I have grown as a student-athlete, basketball player and person.
“With full faith and confidence, I am excited to explore new possibilities and find the best fit for my continued growth and development. This is an extremely difficult decision to make, but ultimately I believe it is the best choice for me and my future in basketball. I appreciate your support as I continue on this journey, and I look forward to sharing updates with you all as they come.”
