The Long Beach Arena is still standing. I have no idea what it is used for these days, but maybe it is a possibility since we used it many years ago.

Where would games be played during construction if the Myd is indeed reroofed or demolished? The Bren Center broke ground in 1984 and opened in 1987 I hope games wouldn't be in the Gold Mine but I don't know of any other place to use for a few years. Maybe the Myd would be patched and hope for no leaks for a few years until a new arena was built.

Problems go way beyond the roof skin. The roof needs to be replaced and that would be extremely expensive. Also many other parts prohibitively expensive to repair and/or replace. Offices in the Pyramid have always been too small. Would be better to tear it down and build new facility. Example of better facility is the Bren Center at UCI.
