Why is this a surprise? Fees were raised to match the deficit. Every business has operate within budget constraints. It now becomes more important for the BAC to get donors and increase attendance. What job has an unlimited budget? Previous Message
I see it more line in the sand clause, like, we will give you a set budget every year...it may go up every year but it will then be set...and you must stay within 1% because any amount over that decreases your budget the following year to pay off the difference, it will cause a 'debt plug' inserted into the budget that will be a fully realized expense on day one of that budget, and essentially all other expenses will have to equal expected revenue so if revenue is flat, other expenses will have to be cut.
At some point this kind of fiscal control had to happen.
The new AD will have to figure out new revenue channels for anything beyond what they are budgeted every year. And I hope regular expenses that always go up are considered for regular budget increases.
New AD will have to get creative too. I wish them the best! Previous Message
All future Ad's will fail or hire bad coaches to match the budget. Previous Message
So, we are looking for a budget person who is able to stay within a set budget. I am guessing this is a common job description when looking for an administrator at this level but I wonder how many prospective experienced candidates read this and deleted the application posting. Previous Message
