Agree Rob, quite surprising for these times. We have 6'9" Ngoyi who sat out last year so I think for once, we have enough Bigs. I think another point guard is needed. If there were to be any injury to Silva we would be completely hosed. Previous Message
The portal closed on May 11 for immediate transfers, apparently any transfers after this date must sit out a year.
This is a MAJOR accomplishment for our MBB coaches to have only lost one impact player, Tone Hunter, who wasn't really the answer for leading this team.
Bringing in what appears to be a pg with much more upside, Isa Silva, with 2 years of eligibility for us is another major accomplishment. He also prefers uptempo but he is taller and can see the floor better, and I'm betting he is more in control of his changes in tempo than Tone was.
We have one more ride available, apparently, what do you all think about our biggest need? Is it another banger inside? Another 3 pt shooter? Another pg for depth? Best talent available and fit em in?
