I am sure the BW Commish was raked over the coals over what UCI was allowed to do regarding the no contests that handed the Big West Championship to them when our Women deserved it. Previous Message
That stupid rule that allowed UCI WBB to have "no contest" because of injuries and cost us the championship last year has also been changed. Thank goodness. I like the new playoff format (unless we ever finsh below 8th). Better teams need to represent the league. Also notice that BASKETBALL is the lighthouse sport of the league. Previous Message
For bball this now eliminates teams 9-11. It will make the regular season really interesting to the final game, not like it usually isn't anyway, but think about those 7-11 seeds if they are no more than 2 games separating all of them which seems to happen a lot. Those last few games will be crazy! Same with seeds 1-4, playing for either 1 or 2 byes. Previous Message
Wow something that makes sense. If our pgs work out and they seem like really good pickups, we have a team that should compete strongly for the top 2 positions. That would be huge.
