Great win over Texas. What impressed me the most is the confidence of the team, very few unforced mistakes, good composure, and a good team IQ. No highest level terminators on the team but a handful of next level ones well distributed and Meyer isn't perfect but has some major abilities, she mixes it up really well at the net, she serves tough, she knows how to sneak in a dump point almost every set, and her on court demeanor is so joyful and fluid.

Team plays great team defense, they are scrappy but also talented on defense and that is a great combo. I think on offense they just need to become masters at mixing up the kill strategies, run a fast offense, and feed offensive momentum with emotion.

Watched a chunk of the Tyler press conference and now I know how this match came about. Texas called Tyler and he was like 'lets do it!'. He exudes confidence and Cali cool. Deferred a lot to how good Texas is but wanted to get them off balance...it worked!

Great to see all the student athletes in the student section helping lead the crazies. A big start the year with a major win that should get more students interested in going to other games in the Mid. More dorms too must be 500+ more on campus students as before.
