I watched it live and it was very painful to watch. His playing partner had just missed his 3 footer for par which didn't help him. Like most pros he strokes his short putts firm so when he missed the hole he didn't have a tap in coming back.

He 5 PUTTED from 18 feet. Wasn't watching live but had heard about the 5 putt. My first reaction was he must have gotten himself in one of those places on a super fast ungulating green where it's impossible to get it close to the hole unless it goes in. In actuality, it was a pretty simple put that he had for birdie, just got a touch over aggressive. Then he just kept missing one bunny after another. It was hard to watch (even on a replay). He hadn't won for 6 years, not sure how many more chances he gets. Feel terrible for him.
