The team hitting percentage against LMI was .064, while LMU hit at .267. Almost every one of our hitters, except for Kennedy, had more errors than kills.
We didn't attack very well against Texas either (under .200), but Texas hit worse than we did.
Tyler dictates a very specific offense. Our new hitters obviously haven't adjusted to it, and Meyers is having to force the sets and is having a lot of location issues.
Tyler gambled with a really tough schedule. After the win against Texas, I thought it might turn out to be a great move, but I'm not so sure we are ready for this heavy non-conference schedule.

The probable reason we lost to Loyola is because we weren't prepared! Both LMU and LB are about even teams on paper. From the beginning you could obviously see our ladies were not prepared and LMU was sky high. We lost for the same reason Texas lost on Friday. If you come into any sports event not prepared, you're going to lose. The ladies have some talent and should be fine. I highly doubt that they will make the NCAA tourney but they should be no worse than third in the Big West.
