Great schedule, 2-3 , not bad. 3-2 would have felt better sure, but overall you look at the rankings, and 2-3 would have been acceptable in my mind.
Have to beat Omaha. Can’t have let downs lookjng past opponents . Omaha has not competed well after being a top Summit team last year. Winless but against strong competition. Then Nebraska ……we’ll I hope we can pull it off but again 1-1 would be my expectation. After Nebraska I expect 3 wins Alabama St and New Mexico St, before a coin flip game against Arizona

How many new players are there on the team? If we can give them time to develop as a team they will be able to compete at the upper level. They will end the season much better. Previous Message
I am thinking along the same line as you! I do see talent on this team, but it seems to fade in and then fade out. If we could become more consistent, we could contend against Hawaii this year!!! Previous Message
So far I think most on this board would be satisfied with the results. You probably have to take the Texas and Loyola matches for what they are. Versus Texas we played before a huge crowd and I'm sure were more psyched up than normal. Versus Loyola we just didn't come to play which is natural after a big win a few days before. We beat a decent Indiana team and played fairly well versus Washington and UCLA. I would say at present we are probably a notch below Hawaii and at least even or better than the other Big West teams. We have talent but it's not elite except for Meyer. We could win the Big West but a more realistic finish would be second or third. It will be very tough to make the NCAA tourney, but I see next year as a step up and probable NCAA bid.
