Danimal they are independent. They have been the worst ranked D1 MBB school for years. They aren't going to make any dent in MBB.

Chicago state as a university was on life support. They lost a huge portion of their enrollment , I want to say over half maybe even 75%, in a short time. They were going to merge it with another campus or make it a jc
The state kept them opened, and there was an idea to add football to help bring in male enrollment similar to how smaller lower division schools do.
These guys went overtime elite, and ended up at Chicago state . I don’t know what that says if their abilities, but maybe they got some wealthy donor to try and bring in some nice athletes and raise the profile of the school athletically. Previous Message
