Roster is deep. Kid's are ahead of what I expected. Larry Anderson brought some fire to the day and optimism was everywhere with a few loyal fans in the gym. If they can keep injuries at bay, it could be a very good year for Dan and the Niners.

The core of Tsohonis, AJ, Jadon, and the Traores look very good. Paired with a serviceable point guard Tsohonis can be an elite scorer. L Traore very skilled on the block. A Traore took some perimeter shots today and had some success. Can you imagine how hard he would be to deal with if the defenders didn't know he was going to drive to the rim on every effort. Jadon and AJ both solid today.

The two new point guards, Silva and Thompson, look good enough and not quite into the system yet. Edge to Thompson off this early observation. Silva not bad, solid. Both will play.

CP and Stroud look improved. Seemed like they both got taller. Stroud showed confidence today.

The freshmen Lewis and Djordjevic have a future at LB. Both looked pretty good. Lewis has a quick release and can shoot. Way early but Djordjevic might be a red shirt candidate. He was a good sign but we are way deep.
