Both Traores. I expect they could get NIL offers to transfer to somewhere like U$C and I wouldn't blame either if they went. But, if they stay I'll be happy to watch them one more year, to witness how they develop under a whole new set of leadership. We haven't had an interior player like Lassina since TJ Robinson. And I don't remember anyone with the athletics and motor of Aboubacar since what, Salahuddin?
AJ George: would love to see him stay, put on some muscle, and get some different development. Smooth as silk, and showing signs of being more aggressive.
Jadon: he could thrive in a new environment either elsewhere or here. Hope its here.
Hart Jr. I like his game. Hope he stays and develops.
Silva: Not impressed but can he jump in the portal again? Maybe new coaching can get more out of him.
Lewis: I liked what I saw early on, pretty tough and seemed smart, but every time he comes in and gets the ball outside the 3 pt line in any situation, he jacks up a line drive 3 and hardly ever gets a make. I never see the coaching admonish him so they must have given him a green light. If he stays, a new coaching staff will reign him in. If he leaves, good luck elsewhere.
Ngoyi: feel bad for the guy, but he hasn't played one minute in 3 years and its probably time to cut ties.
Recruit Kamren Martin: I looked into his game quite a bit and had the pleasure of meeting him when he came out for a visit. Very impressed with what I've seen on his videos.
The other recruit, Vianney S. don't know much about him.
Bottom line, new coach is all I really care about at this point. I imagine a few guys will stay, a few will xfer. The portal will make it easier to restock a decent team right away. Either way I'm ok. GO BEACH
To go 18-14 and 10-10 in the Big West with at least as much talent as anyone in the conference is a joke. These players while talented, have zero basketball IQ, minimal fundamentals and are motivated to play about half their games. The early wins vs. Michigan and USC proved to be less than inspiring and the conference games were mostly non-inspiring also. Thank God we hopefully have a AD with a winning pedigree and a desire to see LBSU rule the Big West again soon. I couldn't care less if all, or any of these current players leave. I hope we get a young, energetic, hard-working, teaching type of coach who can improve players skills rather than diminish them!
