An a little bit of bad luck on our side as we ended up the 4th set, and lost the match. There for a while, I had hopes that we were about to see another reverse sweep, but it just did not happen!
Give credit to UCLA they played a solid match.
* Their serving in the first two sets put a lot of pressure on LB. Even the float serves by McHenry and #23 took LB out of system
* UCLA serve receive kept them in system running a quick offense not allowing LB block to set up.
* McHenry was 10/11: Rowan receipt of in system passes and McHenry running a slide to the left side repeatedly minimizing LB block.
* UCLA’s block focused on LB left side attack shutting the attack down until well into the third set.
* UCLA defense: how many times did they seem to keep balls from hitting the floor
I totally agree about the errors, but UCLA probably has something to do with that. He had a lot of our kill attempts rejected by UCLA this afternoon! I would say that we had too many serving errors, but UCLA had a number of them as well. I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I felt that we did not play our "A" game either against GCU or UCLA. Very proud of this team and will hate to see the seniors go, but I feel that we should have another strong team next season, and hope that we get the chance at another National Championship at that time!!!
Great season, but we just made too many mistakes. Can’t make that many and win against UCLA volleyball. Hopefully there will be a rematch next season. Go Beach!

Get excited! Should be a packed house, UCLA will bring fans but LB Nation will be louder.
GO BEACH!!! Bring it Back to the Beach!!!
