Long Beach State Sports : I spoke with Randy at ticket office

Randy advised they will play a better home schedule. For the first time in 12 years I'll be buying season tickets. Really looking fwd to watching the guys playback system and a strategy to recruiting.

I told him I prefer 7pm games and he told me it's spsplit on game times. It's pretty even with some people liking 4pm and others prefer 7pm.

Finally, were supposed to get a kid from Texas, so we may not be done

I think that we are all pretty excited about seeing our new coach and team next season. Right now, I think that the future looks pretty bright!!! Go 49'ers...GO BEACH!!!

Hats off to coach Acker for quickly recruiting a very good group of players for next year. Experienced players like Askew, a five star HS player out of Mater Dei, Wainwright a solid player for 2 years at Robert Morris and Johnson a solid player for many seasons at UCI should keep us contending in the Big West if team chemistry can be developed. I would bet that coach teaches good fundamentals, recruits players with good basketball IQ and surely will develope team chemistry. Add in Xzavierro from GCU, and probably Lloyd from Nebraska and you have what should be a solid starting lineup. Richardson seems like an adequate backup center and a bunch of talented freshmen and sophomores should add quality depth. I'm really looking forward to coach Acker's systems being put in place and it looks like he will have good talent to run those systems!
