Saving the Shark Lab is critical for the sake of research. The lab works with the Aquarium of the Pacific and NOAA. It will not bode well for the academic reputation of the university if it is lost.
Unfortunately at LBSU all depts fundraising is being controlled by the University Research and Development Dept. (URD). The Prez has always wanted donations to go to the Beach fund first so she could directly control all donations made to the university. Anyone making donations should be very specific as to where they want their money to go to and request specific confirmation.
