Assuming the information is pretty much up to date here.
2025 Offers
5 Point Guards
1 Shooting Guard
1 Big Forward
All between 3-4 stars. All heavily recruited, some big name schools involved.
Point Guards
Ty Virgil, 6-4. 3.2 stars, offered Jan 2024. Sacramento is home. Phoenix Prep HS. The only offer made by the previous staff still on the board. No additional offers in 2024, all others made prior. ASU and WSU have offered. 4 schools in 3 years, he's ready to be a portal regular. Feels like a fit for the former coach, not Acker.
Mazi Mosley, 6-4. 4.1 stars, offered April 2024. Northridge, St. Francis High. Many offers before and after. Only us and Pepperdine are in the 'mid/low major' discussion, every other offer from a higher profile program. SDSU, UCLA, Oklahoma in the mix. Seems to have some ties to coach Acker. West Coast Elite club team coached by Ryan Silver, good friend of Coach Acker (https://www.instagram.com/coachryansilver/p/C5BT8ewrrqe/). National level recruit, invited to Team USA and NBA Top 100 camp. Dad is John Mosely of E LA College and Last Chance U Basketball on Netflix. Major coup if we sign him, most likely sign at a top level program and if things don't work out, we might be positioned to sign him off the portal. His star is rising significantly from the NBA Top 100 camp. Once he adds bulk to his frame, will be targeted by the NBA.
Aaron Glass, 6-3. 3.9 stars, June 2024. Rancho Cucamonga High. Lots of offers, but most more at our level, with a handful of old Pac 12 teams, notably Washington and Cal. 3 pt sniper, developing facilitator, mid range, and finisher at the rim. UCSB very involved. Seems like a high quality, affable kid. Seems within our reach. https://highschool.si.com/california/2024/01/04/rancho-cucamonga-star-point-guard-aaron-glass-makes-the-net-dance
Cameron Carroll, 6-2. 3.5 stars, May 2024. Dallas, S. Grand Prairie HS. Lots of TX offers, incl. Rice and SMU. High energy, good facilitator, defender. Interested in pre-med degree. Our only out of state 2025 offer.
Gavin Hightower, 6-1. 3.3 stars, June 2024. LA Windward HS. Our latest offer. Competition includes Cal, WSU, N. Mexico. 2024 MVP of the Gold Coast League. 2nd team all Cal Hi. Seems like a good personality, team type of player from interviews. HS Coach is DJ Gay former SDSU star and is involved in Ryan Silvers West Coast Elite club program.
Shooting Guard
Gavin Sykes, 6-4. 3.2 stars, May 2024. Sacramento, Modesto Christian HS. 7 offers, biggest competition is Cal. 2nd team all Cal Hi. Good decision maker. West Coast Elite. MVP of the Tri City Athletic League.
Forward
Douglas Langford, 6-8. 3 stars, Downey St. Pius X HS. Lots of offers from low-mid majors. 3rd team all Cal Hi. West Coast Elite. 1st team all Del Rey League.
