Yes absolutely: the one thing I noticed in terms of how he is positioning his program, which is awesome, is that his personnel and approach are built to develop players for pro ball.
That's reflected in his staff (player/skills development focus).
That's invaluable in terms as being a destination to help prepare guys for the next level.

Coach Acker is such a breath of fresh air, energy, vitality, communication, and excitement!
If NIL and the xfer portal didn't exist, I'd be even more excited that Acker could build and build. But, given the environment and our limitations we have regardless of who is HC, Acker I think will work relentlessly to overcome said challenges as best possible.
Any players that stay on from a previous year, one thing I bet we'll see is significant player development. I think its a huge part of the Acker plan and might entice guys to stay on just one more year even if they are getting good NIL offers we can't match. If our team environment is such that players recognize their development with the coaching staff and like the chemistry and environment. Things the coaching staff can control.
