Who is player No. 8? She looks 6’2” or 6’3”, but it is hard to tell from the tv angle. And all the players not playing, remember, it is your hard work in practice that makes the starters better. The team is playing a faster game and you are a reason why. Thank you.
Watched the game on espn+. My impression was Meyer was able to hit the point most of the time. She made a few acrobatic sets, and a few to far in front and behind the hitter. She was on last night. The quick 1 was working ver well. Karich is looking healthy again, has some hops and hitting intelligently. Glenn got in a couple of great hits. Good to see. The passing for the most part very good, but I think they want set 2 back. I noticed there is specific time when the passing goes south. It probably will work in conference play, if they get an invite they are going to have cover up a couple of players.
Passing was much better, allowing Zayna to run the offense much better. She set middle more often, and Lomigora responded with a great match. That forced the defense away from concentrating on our outside hitters. Great result.
WVB looked much better last night, as our ladies won 3-0 against Washington State. Harris broke into the starting rotation last night and did a great job!!!
Hope that we play well against Pepperdine (who lost to Washington yesterday afternoon) this afternoon. Susan and I have other obligations, and as such will not be in attendance at the game!
