At the current time I do not think collectives can be run by the school so would not be a department violation. I believe the new NCAA proposal would switch the responsibilities to the school if passed. Not sure if right but that is my understanding.

Unfortunately another NIL will further dilute incoming donations for LBSU Athletics. We have a finite number of donors. Our donors do not have the monies to donate to numerous collectives. Notice there have not been any collectives for women's sports. This is discrimination and the university can be subject to lawsuits because of this.
This does nothing for the needs of the athletic dept itself. The NIL monies are strictly for the athletes.
