Big Fire stop kissing Conoley’s rear and start looking objectively at the lbsu situation. Try looking where you want to be in 5 years and coming up with yearly tactical plans to get there. You and all the do nothings on that campus are only slowly dragging us downhill. I would do it, but I’m retired, time for new blood to make the future now.

You need to change your moniker to No Fire. Lbsu needed football but no one would do anything about it. If you think football did nothing for the likes of Boise State, think again. Maxson doubled the endowment to $230M, since then there has been no increase. Conoley is one that came after Maxson and her record indicates it.
There are 2 fronts here 1 ) Conoley is not getting the job done and 2) endowments are import to a university’s life blood and Conoley has done nothing about it.
Football is not on lbsu’s horizon, a red herring by No Fire. Refuses to accept Conoley is just picking up a paycheck every month. Previous Message

They leverage big donors for the facility. Spanos (the Chargers) and now the Madden Family (the Football Excellence center or whatever they are calling it).
They have two modest student fees that support athletics, one for scholarships, one for other aspects.
A few of their sports had to be fundraised to operate fully by an endowment that covers full in state scholarships and operations. I believe golf. So rather than fundraising each year for operations, they use investment returns to offset costs. Little things like this free up money for football. Previous Message
How can they afford football? Then LBS can't. For them to keep football they can't stay in the Big West for long.
