WVB beat Davis 3-2 today without setter Zayna Meyer, whom I believe was on concussion protocol. The team ran a 6-2 with Maura Hayes and Madi Collins setting out of the back row. This allowed them to always have three hitters in the front row. Grace O’Reilly played right side opposite Natalie Glenn, and performed very well. Madison Maxwell played instead of Jaida Harris on the left, and looked solid. So, that’s three new freshmen on the court with Collins, O’Reilly, and Maxwell.

Good win against a solid team, and was much better than last night’s loss to a weaker UCR team.
