Agree that we have to give them time. This is a BRAND new team, new coaches, new players, new everything.
We just need them to gel and improve every game before conference play. I think we'll have plenty of tools to shock the conference, but THEY NEED TIME to develop together.
I'm excited so far about the hustle, the mentality and the talent we have. It's a new day!

While I will be delighted if we win, I don't expect it. Too tough of an opponent in a tough environment, while our team of almost all new po=layers is likely to take some time to come together. I am afraid this will be a blowout. Previous Message
And McNeese St. is supposed to be very good this year.
SD State has a very productive big in 6-11 260 Oscar Cluff, he's gonna be a load for our bigs. They have plenty of other bigs, two 6-10 245 lb Frosh, a skinny 7-0 junior, and a good mix of smaller forwards and big guards.
A win on the road against the Jackrabbits would be a big upset. Nowhere close to expecting one, just hope we represent and don't get clobbered.

The game Friday at South Dakota St will be a good test for us. Last year they were 22-13 winning the Summit League Tourney advancing to the NCAA Tourney. They won at home a few days ago over McNeese St. by 7 points.
