Just now having a few minutes to comment on our Women's Basketball game against LA State. Susan and I were at the game and I was happy with what we saw! The team looks better than last year and I think that Amy and her staff have brought in some good new players and those that stay are also doing a good job for us. Someone said that LA State was picked to win their league and I can see why as they had some very good shooters.
We continue to be an up paced team, which is fun to watch. We have so many new players, that we were a little off in passing, but the defense was doing pretty well. We also had too many turnovers, but I thing that will improve as the season moves on.
I liked the play of the newcomers, and we had a couple of players that did not play because of injuries. I think that this is going to be a fun team to follow and could do very well in the Big West!
