WVB scored a big win over UC San Diego, last night. UCSD was in a 4 way tie for first place, with LB one game behind. This win ties us with them, and since we've beaten them both times we've played, we own any tiebreaker. Setter Zayna Meyer returned to the starting lineup after being out on concussion protocol. However, the coaches stuck with the 6-2 lineup they'd been using the last three matches. Maura Hays combined with Meyer to set out of the back row, allowing Grace O'Reilly to sub in the front row on the right side. Grace responded with 9 kills, and hit over .600. Abby Karich and Madison Maxwell continued their solid play on the left.

Now, they travel to Hawaii for another big match. If they can win that one, they'll be in line for the regular season conference championship.
