I agree about this year, but the Nil and transfer portal are killing any year to year continuity. I salute the three guys who stayed, but are on the bench.

When you bring virtually no one back, and everyone is learning to play with a bunch of strangers. Defense is the hardest thing to teach. Recall last year and all of the frustration on defense, I recall hearing in early league that the team only had practiced defense. We are only 4-5 games into the season. I know we suck right now, but I am hopeful that we will be able to put it together. If we get the D side, it will create a ton of offensive opportunities. Previous Message
If the bigs can improve, we will be able to compete in the Big West. Not saying we will win the league, but we should be competitive. Acker is also a huge defensive minded coach. Defense will improve as the year goes on. Previous Message
In the current BW tourney format, only 8 teams qualify so 3 schools do not go to the tourney. Previous Message
We have zero offense outside of Askew and sometimes Wainwright. Defense is giving up over 80 points per game, other than NAIA schools. Who are we going to beat in league play? Cal Poly is much improved, so that one is out. Only Fullerton is a possibility. I look for 11th place and no tournament. It's going to be a loooong sad year. I can never remember us finishing last in all the years I have been a fan/booster.
