I had to let this game settle in before analyzing it. The first half was a good of basketball that this team has played. They SHARED the ball, moved without the all, played defense, and rebounded. They also fouled way too much (slow reactions?). The second half the team went back to being Askew (who is a really good player) and quit sharing the ball. It was Askew this and Askew that. When they took him off the court for a minute's rest the team looked unable to function. In the disasterous last minutes it was Askew who had the ball all the time and who got trapped. He is our best player, but there were four other guys on the floor. We also have a first time head coach who did not make adjustments to what a veteran Fresno coach did. And you all saw we also had some really sloppy ball handling on a number of breakways. Final analysis, a disastrous loss, but some improvement. Tough week ahead in the tournament. I predict 0-3, but HOPEFULLY improvement. I still have us, at this time, 11th in league.
