While at the women's game on Thursday, I was told that George had passed. In recent years, he and his wife had spent most of their time at their in Big Bear. In earlier years, George was one of the most ardent supporters of Long Beach State Sports in the history of our sports program. He was personally responsible for getting me involved with athletic fun raising more than 50 years ago. RIP George and thanks for getting me started along the path of Long Beach State support and fund raising!!!
