Acker gets in the faces of all 3 of his guards at a timeout apparently about passing the ball and they go on a run. Up until then the team looked kind of flat and was being outhustled by USD which got energized by what the hustle produced for them.

Then it switched and we played that strong team defense and starting hustling more and finding better action on offense. And Kam Martin went off for 15 points including 4-4 from 3 what a sweet stroke he has, elevates, release is high, squared up. Liking him better and better each game.

Giving up too many boards USD is a bit bigger I was worried about that mostly. They hit way more 3's than I thought they could, came in shooting less than 25% as a team and they could hardly miss. It happens.

We play that tough defense in the second half, stay energized and out hustle USD, we can win this one. No gimme of course.

Lloyd and Hart could definitely help us in spots right now. Hope they can both play soon. Any ideas whats up with Lloyd?

Big enigma is Curtis...maybe a reason he was available late after scoring 23 ppg in JUCO.
