If Jason Hart returns he can spell Askew 3-5 minutes a half if needed, or more if an injury hits us.
I've thought the same thing. If Askew goes down we might not win any games while he's out. We need to develop other guys too, this isn't a lost season but not one we should expect to be anything more than developing the team and some key guys who hopefully stay another year.
Hart has been injured for over a month, and has anyone heard anything? Lloyd's been out at least half a month and no news. Corey Curtis is MIA has he been on the bench at least?
Yeah, depth is a problem. I think our guys play more in control and at a slower pace which might keep them healthier but then again, Askew has a history of injuries.
3 in a row against poor competition is something to build on. Our still low ranking is because we haven't beat anyone of note and we've been creamed by too many teams lately. Pepperdine is 4-6 with a nice win over New Mexico State. Beat them on the road that should boost us more.
When Lloyd returns he will add to our depth.
Recently 6 players have gotten a lot of time with Denson and Nagy getting 20+ min at USD and DMX only getting 9 min. At SD Johnson played 35 min, Martin 37, Askew 38, and Wainright 33 min. The bench players need to give us more minutes and more good play. If we get in foul trouble or have an injury other players will need to step up.
