Without Gonzaga the WCC is in big trouble. All you have is St Mary's and the rest of the schools don't offer very much. LMU/Pepperdine/Pacific/Portland/San Diego MBB teams are all bottom feeders in the WCC. Santa Clara and USF are decent teams but nothing special and they are getting Seattle next year which is a bad MBB program. St Mary's will dominate and WCC will become a one bid lead.

Maybe St Mary's would like to join the BIG WEST. We would then see our old WBB coach and our old Baseball coach on a regular basis! Previous Message
WCC is nothing without Gonzaga. ST Mary's will become the new Gonzaga until a bigger conference steals them away as well. Previous Message
Suing Grand canyon for exit fees. I’m sure a settlement eventually comes, but interesting note from WCC commissioner:
“Even before Gonzaga's departure, we had planned to remain aggressive in terms of evaluating membership opportunities for the conference,” Jackson said. “That hasn't changed. We are going to remain aggressive.”
